Your trust matters
Privacy, without the small-print seduction.
The Cuck Academy deals with personal—and sometimes deeply intimate—information. This notice explains plainly what we collect, why we need it, who may process it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 29 July 2026
1. Who we are
The Cuck Academy is the trading name of WINTERS ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.
Website: https://thecuckacademy.com
Privacy email: hello@thecuckacademy.com
Postal address: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.
Our services and course content are intended only for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
2. What information we collect
Account and profile information
This may include your name or chosen display name, username, email address, password in encrypted form, profile details, account preferences and login history.
Orders and payments
We may process your contact details, billing details, order history, payment status, refunds and transaction references. Card and bank details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored in full by The Cuck Academy.
Learning activity
LearnDash and related course tools may store enrolments, lesson and topic progress, completion status, quiz results, achievements, assignment files, essays, answers, feedback and other course submissions.
Messages, forms and comments
When you contact us, complete a form or leave a comment, we receive the information you submit. Comments may also include your IP address and browser user-agent string for security and spam detection.
An anonymised hash of a commenter’s email address may be sent to Gravatar to check for a profile image. After approval, a comment and its profile image may be visible publicly. See Automattic’s privacy policy.
Technical, security and analytics information
We and our service providers may receive IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location, timestamps, cookie choices, login attempts, form events, video interactions and diagnostic data.
Newsletter preferences
If you subscribe, we process your email address, subscription status and, where enabled, delivery, opening and link-click information. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option.
3. Private and intimate course submissions
Audio, written answers, images and other assignments are not “comments”
Private course submissions are treated as confidential learner content. They are not published on the website and are not visible to other learners.
Some submissions may reveal information about your sex life, sexual orientation, health or relationships. This can be “special category data” under UK data-protection law. We ask for your explicit consent before accepting this kind of submission. You choose what to disclose, and you should avoid naming or identifying another person unless you have their permission.
Within The Cuck Academy, only Adreena routinely accesses and reviews these submissions to provide the course or feedback you requested. We do not share them with other learners, make them public, use them in marketing, sell them or use them to train artificial-intelligence models.
Our hosting, storage and technical service providers may process files solely to host, secure, back up or deliver the service for us. They are not permitted to use learner submissions for their own purposes.
You may withdraw consent and request deletion at any time by emailing hello@thecuckacademy.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. If deleting a submission means we can no longer provide personalised review or feedback, we will explain that to you.
4. How and why we use your information
| Purpose | Typical information | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Create and manage accounts; provide courses and learner support | Account, profile, enrolment, progress and support information | Performance of our contract with you |
| Process purchases, refunds and financial records | Contact, order, billing and transaction information | Contract and legal obligation |
| Receive and review intimate learner submissions | Audio, written answers, images or assignments that may reveal sensitive information | Your consent under Article 6(1)(a) and explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) of the UK GDPR |
| Reply to enquiries and provide support | Contact details and message content | Contract or our legitimate interest in supporting users and operating the service |
| Protect accounts, prevent fraud and detect spam or abuse | IP address, user agent, security logs, login attempts and form/comment data | Our legitimate interests in keeping the service and users safe; legal obligation where applicable |
| Send newsletters and promotional messages | Email address and marketing preferences | Your consent, or the limited “soft opt-in” where UK law permits it |
| Measure and improve the website | Cookie identifiers, pages viewed, device data and interaction events | Your consent for non-essential storage/access technologies; legitimate interests where analytics are configured to operate lawfully without them |
| Establish, exercise or defend legal claims and comply with law | Relevant account, transaction, communication and security records | Legal obligation and legitimate interests |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the necessity of the processing, its effect on you and whether your rights override our interests.
5. Cookies, analytics and embedded content
Cookies and similar technologies help the site work, remember choices, protect accounts, measure usage and load external content. Except where a technology is strictly necessary, we ask for consent before using it. You can change or withdraw your choices through the site’s cookie controls.
Strictly necessary and preference cookies
WordPress, LearnDash and related tools use cookies to manage login sessions, account security, course access, language selection, form state and display preferences. Login cookies usually last for the session or up to two weeks when “Remember Me” is selected. Preference cookies may last for up to one year.
Analytics
We use Matomo Analytics, hosted with our WordPress installation, to understand how the site is used. Depending on our configuration and your consent choices, Matomo may process a shortened or full IP address, device/browser information, referring pages, pages viewed and interaction events.
Google Site Kit/Google tag and Jetpack Stats may also measure visits and interactions. These services may process IP address, device/browser information, referring and visited pages, timestamps, country and interaction events. More information is available in the Google Privacy Policy and the Jetpack Privacy Center.
Embedded content and video
Pages may include video, newsletter forms or other content provided by services such as Swarmify/SmartVideo, Substack, YouTube or Vimeo. Loading or interacting with embedded content may allow that provider to receive your IP address, browser/device details, referring page and interaction information, particularly if you are logged in to that provider. Where required, embedded content is held back until you consent.
Matomo opt-out
You may choose to prevent this website from aggregating and analyzing the actions you take here. Doing so will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and creating a better experience for you and other users.
6. Who processes your information
We do not sell personal information. We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to providers that help us operate the service, or where law requires it. Depending on the feature you use, recipients may include:
- our website host, backup, security and email-delivery providers;
- WordPress and Automattic services, including Jetpack, Akismet and Gravatar;
- LearnDash and connected course, achievement and automation tools;
- payment providers such as Stripe and PayPal;
- MailPoet and/or Substack for newsletters and subscriber management;
- Google services used through Site Kit, Google tag and related measurement tools;
- Matomo for website analytics;
- Swarmify/SmartVideo and, where embedded, YouTube or Vimeo for video delivery;
- WPForms or other form tools used to receive enquiries and submissions;
- Make and Uncanny Automator where an automated workflow connects services;
- professional advisers, insurers, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where necessary.
If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email. Comments and form submissions may be checked by automated spam-detection services.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing the service, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements and meeting legal, accounting and security obligations.
- Accounts and course records: while your account is active and afterwards for only as long as needed to administer the service, handle requests or resolve disputes.
- Private course submissions, including audio: while needed to provide the requested course activity or feedback. We delete them from active systems when they are no longer needed, when account closure and deletion are requested, or when we uphold a valid erasure request. Residual copies may remain temporarily in restricted backups until those backups are overwritten.
- Financial and transaction records: generally six years from the end of the relevant accounting period, or longer if law or an active dispute requires it.
- Support enquiries and forms: for as long as needed to answer the enquiry and normally no longer than 24 months afterwards, unless the message relates to an account, transaction or legal issue requiring longer retention.
- Marketing records: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. We may keep a minimal suppression record so we do not contact you again accidentally.
- Comments: comments and their metadata may be retained indefinitely to preserve the discussion and recognise follow-up comments. You may request deletion.
- Analytics and security logs: according to the configured retention period of the relevant service and only for as long as needed for measurement, diagnosis, fraud prevention and security.
We may anonymise information so that it no longer identifies you. Truly anonymised information may be retained for statistical purposes.
8. Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of your personal information;
- correct incomplete or inaccurate information;
- ask us to erase your information;
- restrict how we use it;
- receive certain information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time; and
- object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing.
These rights are not absolute, and an exemption may apply. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity before acting on a request. There is normally no fee. To exercise a right, email hello@thecuckacademy.com.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first, but you do not have to contact us before approaching the ICO. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or call 0303 123 1113.
9. Security and international transfers
We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access or disclosure. These include access restrictions, authenticated administration, encrypted connections, software updates, security monitoring and backups. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the European Economic Area and the United States. Where UK law treats this as a restricted transfer, we use an applicable adequacy regulation or appropriate contractual safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You may ask us for more information about the safeguard relevant to your information.
10. Images and other media
If you upload an image, remove embedded location information (EXIF GPS) first unless it is necessary for the purpose of the submission. Do not upload content that identifies another person without their knowledge and permission. Publicly posted media may be downloaded by visitors; private course submissions are handled as described in section 3.
11. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The current version will always appear on this page with a revised “last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will provide a more prominent notice where appropriate.
